The preparation and submission of final theses at the University of Pardubice are governed by the relevant internal regulations of the University.

Final theses are submitted electronically via the University information system (IS/STAG).
Students are required to upload the full text of their thesis in PDF/A format. Files must not be password-protected or locked against editing. All information entered into IS/STAG must correspond to the final version of the thesis.
Up to five files may be uploaded to IS/STAG (e.g. thesis text and appendices).
The maximum file size is:
- 300 MB for the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics (FEEI), the Faculty of Restoration (FR), and the Department of Transport Structures (FTE);
50 MB for all other faculties.
Originality Check
After submission, the thesis undergoes an automatic originality check via the Theses.cz system.
After completing the check, an authorised employee performs a formal evaluation of the results.
Publication and Embargo
Following the defence, the thesis is made publicly available in the University Digital Library: https://dk.upce.cz/home.
In justified cases, access to the thesis or parts of it may be postponed (embargoed) for a maximum period of five years from the date of defence, in accordance with Directive No. 7/2025.
Even in the case of an embargo, the full text of the thesis must be uploaded to IS/STAG.
Students requesting an embargo must follow the procedure specified in Directive No. 7/2025.
