Where can you find the quartile of the magazine? It depends on which metric and in which field you want to find out the quartile. This table provides a basic overview. Instructions for each application can be found below.

- Open the PowerBI app
- the report contains several filters that you can set according to what you need to find
- Select Category mapping and Metric
- Search for a journal by title or ISSN to see all quartiles in which the journal is categorized
- use the eraser icon to delete the filter
Example 1
To find a quartile the Journal of alloys and compounds by AIS/FORD, enter the journal name or ISSN, the category mapping "FORD-WOS" and the metric "ARTICLE INFLUENCE SCORE".
Analogously, find the quartile by AIS/Web of Science field, in this case select the category mapping "WOS" and the metric "ARTICLE INFLUENCE SCORE".
If you are interested in the quartile according to the Scopus database metrics, you would select the category mapping "FORD-SCOPUS" and the metric "SJR"

Are you interested in the journals ranked in Q1 by AIS/FORD for a specific field? You can filter them out, the example is the field 3.3 Health sciences.
- open the Journal Citation Reports
- search for a journal by title or ISSN
- quartile information can be yound as Rank by Journal Impact Factor
- quartiles are calculated for all categories in which the journal is included
Example for Fuels (ISSN 0360-5442):
- open the Scimago Journal & Country Rank
- search for a journal by title or ISSN
- quartile information can be found in the journal profile
- quartiles are calculated for all categories in which the journal is included
